СКЛАВИНИЈА“ КАЈ ТЕОФИЛАКТ СИМОКАТА
Во последните години се засили интересот за поимот Склавинија/Склавинии.
1 Во рамките на тоа се разгоре полемика во врска со употребата на истиот поим кај Теофилакт Симоката. 2 Неочеку- 1 Evangelos Chrysos, Settlements of Slavs and Byzantine sovereignty in the Balkans, Byzantina Mediterranea. A response to Andreas Gkoutzioukostas, By- 16 Стојко СТОЈКОВ, „Склавинија“ кај Теофилакт Симоката вано во неа бев вовлечен и јас, откако Андреас Гуциокостас ме вброи во групата историчари кои под Склавинија кај Симоката разбираат именка и соодветно именување на земјата населена од Словените северно од Дунав. 3 Тоа го направи тој цитирајќи ја мојата презентација на византолошкиот конгрес во 2016 г. во Белград на тема „Поимот Склавинија – византиски изум или западно влијание?“ Сè што имав напишано за ова прашање беше: “The dominant thesis in the science today is that the term Sclavinia first appeared in the early VII century in history of Theophylact Simokatta written in Constantinople. It is debated during the last years if he used it like a noun or an adjective. If the second is truth then this example is disabled. Third possibility that I suggest there is that Sclavinia even might did not exist in his original work.” Јасно е дека во моето излагање јас не сум земал позиција по ова прашање. Меѓутоа моето вклучување како еден од историчарите што поддржуваат одредена интерпретација во науката, ме задолжува да го изјаснам мојот став по прашањево, кое инаку специ- zantion Nea Hellás, 35 (2016), 195-209 (Бидејќи, за жал, го немам овој труд во оригиналниот вид, го цитирам според текстот објавен од самиот Курта на неговиот акаунт во academia.edu и поради тоа страниците се од 1 до 12), Andreas Gkoutzioukostas, “Sklavenia” (“Σκλαυινια”) revisited: previous and recent considerations, Παρεκβολαι, An electronic journal for Byzantine literature, vol. 7 (2017), 1–12. 3 Gkoutzioukostas, “Sklavenia”, 2, 8: “at the recent 23rd International Congress of Byzantine Studies in Belgrade (2016) Stojko Stojkov announced a paper on the term “Sclavinia”, where he examines whether it is a Byzantine invention or a western influence, taking for granted that “Sclavinia” is a noun in Theophylact’s History and in the Vita of St Willibald as well… the recent views formulated by Curta and Stojkov”, “Stojkov’s assumption presupposes that the term “Σκλαυηνία” is a noun,” и „the term “Σκλαυηνία” used by Theophylact is an adjective and not a noun, contrary to the opinion of P. Schreiner, S. A. Ivanov, W. Ensslin, O. Pritsak, A. Berger, F. Curta and S. Stojkov.“
